Geological Survey

Exploration for hydrocarbons typically begins with geologists examining the surface structure of the earth, in search of major sedimentary basins containing hydrocarbon-rock formations.

Our geologists at Seasons Energy Ltd. are suitably qualified in carrying out this assessment using basic survey methods ranging from magnetic survey to gravimetric survey and seismic survey.

Our services include proffering solutions spanning: Land and Marine seismic data acquisition, Computer aided exploration(seismic imaging 2-D,3-D,4-D).

Drilling

At Seasons Energy Ltd., we have variety of methods through which we access multiple hydrocarbon zones. We take into consideration the challenges present in unique drilling environments (onshore & offshore), requiring special techniques and equipment. Our activities include: Horizontal well drilling, offshore drilling using mobile offshore drilling rigs, submersible rigs, semisubmersible rig, jack up rigs and drillships.

Development & Production

As regards the development of oil wells, we carry out activities spanning drilling of appraisal wells, well completion, installation of well casings and well heads, lifting and well treatment.  

We constantly endeavor to maintain production level by applying latest Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques in order to arrest natural decline from producing fields and to enhance production. Some of the EOR techniques deployed include: chemical flooding, gas injection and thermal recovery.

Understanding that the use of EOR depends on the wells or reservoirs, our geologists ensures that each field is heavily evaluated to determine which type of EOR will work best on the reservoir. This we achieve through reservoir characterization, screening, scoping, and reservoir modeling and simulation.
